Floor System for the Garden Shed

If the design does not have to be portable and you have a minimum of experience in concrete, then by all means make the floor a concrete slab.  If you choose to build the floor with wood, then 2 x 8’s will do fine.  Use 2 x 10’s for extra support.

Cornice for the Garden Shed

The cornice does not have to be a complicated process.  Keep it simple and use T111 for the soffit, one by six’s in the gables, and one by eight’s on the eaves.
